Seen behind my apartment, they finally parked next to each other. I have no idea what year the Beetle is? (Roommates Taurus ruining the moment) I do like that the Beetle blocks the rust on the Camaro.

The beetle Im guessing is a late 60s early 70s model,

With this being a more daylight picture that camaro has a few options on it. It has the bigger I6 motor (250 over the base 230) based in the engine badge, also has the exterior trim package that include the wheel well moldings, door top trim and the gutter trim. I believe that was option RPO Z21, has the standard interior because I don’t see the deluxe crests in the top of the backrest. The wheels are the correct steel wheels with correct 68 dog dish caps.

Also, yes there is a little rust around the rear window, but the trunk is pretty solid.

Easy patch as its common on early Camaros would make a great candidate to V8 swap. The 250 is a turd. No power and drinks as much gas as hot small block. My grandpa had a 67 Camaro with the 250 and it drank as much gas as my 327 that's built up a little

I agree. I wish I knew who owned it or why it’s just sitting.

Looks like a Super, vent behind the windows and huge turn signals mean 71+

My research turned up about as much, most of the year to year changes seem to be to the interior.

It’s a Super Beetle, ‘71 or ‘72. The engine cover would give it away.

four rows of vents = 72 and later. Two rows would be 71.

It moved shortly thereafter, but it’s always around here somewhere.
